Songkran Festival

Songkran is the Thai New Year celebrated every year from April 13 to April 15. Mostly on the date 13th at Chaweng beach will be crowded with group of tourists stand at front of restaurant or bar waiting to splash water on the others. Thais rather sit at the back of the pick up truck and drive around the island to have fun at the various beaches.
