Wat Kiriwongkaram Temple

Wat Kiri Wongkaram is noted in part for the mummified body of the Buddhist monk name Loung Por Ruam, which rests here in a glass case. This venerated monk was prepared for public viewing upon his death 25 years ago, and his body remains in remarkably good condition. Follow the main road 4170 south from Ban Saket junction, then turn right between the two giant elephant statues and look for the temple on the right situate near by Taling ngam beach.

Talingngam - Five islands beach - Virgin Coast

Talingngam is a large area with the beautiful "five islands beach" as shown by the video above.

What most people come to think about while hearing Taling-ngam is probably Le Meridien Baan Taling Ngam, an exlusive resort located from the beach front and further up the mountain hill side.

There are two main passenger and car ferry companies going between Koh Samui and Don Sak (50 min. bus trip from Suratthani) ferry port on the main land, Seatran and Raja Ferry. Raja Ferry leaves from Taling Ngam.
